Expirience with the KTM SCARP MT PRO

Ludwig Döhl With a little more suspension travel on the fork and tires with better grip, the SCARP MT PRO is much more suitable for trails than its little brother. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. The seating position can be described neither as sporty nor as comfortable. It has a moderate character. There are Downcountry-Bike in the price under 4500 Euro that have more potential downhill. Heavy riders over 85 kilos aren´t likely to encounter too many problems with the high weight of 14,9 kg. For lighter riders, this could be a disturbance. But let´s not forget: The geometry shows the know-how of the KTM engineers. For 3099 Euro , other manufacturers deliver geometries with less potential.
