    Summary

Expirience with the Merida ONE-FORTY 500

Merida ONE-FORTY 500 Review The model name suggests 140 millimeters of suspension travel at the fork. But this is a deceptive maneuver by the Taiwanese brand Merida. Because the ONE-FORTY 500 is equipped with lush 150 mm travel at the fork and thus also equipped for excursions into alpine terrain. The flat 65 degree head tube angle of the ONE-FORTY 500 gives the rider lots of confidence in challenging terrain. The combination of a long top tube and low stack value will make you sit sporty on the Merida ONE-FORTY 500. With shifting systems, other manufacturers in the price segment under 4500 Euro continue to top up to the shelf. Especially for light riders under 70 kilos, the weight of this bike is enormous. With 16,49 kg, the ratio of rider to bike weight could be lighter. A good argument for the ONE-FORTY 500: Such a successful geometry is usually only available if you have deep pockets. We like: 25 years warranty on the frame! Check the size chart exactly before buying: the Merida sizing runs big.
