Expirience with the Merida ONE-FORTY 700

Ludwig Döhl The model name suggests 140 millimeters of suspension travel at the fork. But this is a deceptive maneuver by the Taiwanese brand Merida. Because the ONE-FORTY 700 is equipped with lush 150 mm travel at the fork and thus also equipped for excursions into alpine terrain. The flat 65 degree head tube angle of the All Mountain von Merida oozes self-assurance, especially in challenging terrain. The view of the geometry data clearly reveals: the Merida ONE-FORTY 700 has a sporty seating position. Especially for light riders under 70 kilos, the weight of this bike is enormous. With 15,8 kg, the ratio of rider to bike weight could be lighter. A good argument for the Merida Fully: Such a successful geometry is usually only available if you have deep pockets. With 25 years warranty, you can not go wrong. Caution when selecting the size: the Aluminium frame sizing runs big.
