Expirience with the Merida ONE-TWENTY 600

Ludwig Döhl While many companies are increasingly focusing their attention on the high-end segment, Merida does not forget that many bikers are mainly looking for an affordable touring bike. The ONE-TWENTY 600 aims to make trail fun possible on a budget. The flat 66 degree head tube angle of the Trailbike von Merida oozes self-assurance, especially in challenging terrain. The seating position does not manage to be too athletic, nor too upright. It´s moderate character is likely to suite the vast majority of bikers. In the price range under 4500 Euro, other manufacturers tend to install higher quality shifting systems. Heavy riders over 85 kilos aren´t likely to encounter too many problems with the high weight of 15,7 kg. For lighter riders, this could be a disturbance. But let´s not forget: The geometry shows the know-how of the Merida engineers. For 3000 Euro , other manufacturers deliver geometries with less potential. With 25 years warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
