With the TALLBOY D, Santa Cruz has a classic in its product line. Like many American bikes, the trail bike also has the combination of a low-lying shock absorber and a VPP rear triangle. This ensures calm in the rear even through rougher terrain. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. The seating position does not manage to be too athletic, nor too upright.
