The frame of the R1 Race GOLD is manufactured in Germany and is one of the lightest hardtail frames in the world. Company founder Thomas Stoll used to be a mountain bike pro himself and is a merciless advocate of absolute lightweight construction. We really liked the jaw-dropping weight of the complete bike. With 7,9 kg, the Stoll Racebike is a real lightweight. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. Well trained athletes are likely to really enjoy the sporty seating position. And finally, we need to emphasize, that Stoll installed better wheels at a price of 8900 Euro than the competition.
