Expirience with the Focus RAVEN 8.9

Ludwig Döhl With 120 mm of travel at the front, the 2023 relaunched RAVEN 8.9 clearly departs from its predecessor. It wants to be more of an all-rounder than a racer. The integrated storage compartment in the downtube offers space for a spare tube and a minitool. When it comes down to handling, Focus does not compromise. With its balanced handling style, the Focus RAVEN 8.9 is ready for the majority of singletrails. Compared with what the market offers, the seating position is neither super sporty, nor uber-comfortable. In the saddle of the Focus Hardtail, you´ll enjoy a moderate position. On climbs, other bikes in the under 4500 Euro present a little better performance than the Downcountry-Bike of Focus. Finally, here is another killer argument: in price range on long tours with lots of trails, the Downcountry-Bike of Focus is one of the best models in the on long tours with lots of trails category.
