The Lapierre brand has been quiet for a long time. Now the French are back with a new edition of their classic. The Zesty CF 7.9 has always been an ingenious touring bike with a penchant for downhill racing. The footprints left by its predecessors for the new All Mountain are correspondingly large. The flat 64,5 degree head tube angle of the All Mountain von Lapierre oozes self-assurance, especially in challenging terrain. The seating position can be described neither as sporty nor as comfortable. It has a moderate character. Looking at only the shifting system of the rest of the bikes you have to say that other manufacturers in the price range under 6000 Eurouse higher quality components. Nevertheless: The suspension works extremely well for a 4999 Euro bike.
