When it comes to price, Decathlon takes the knife between its teeth. The Explore 500 is calculated on the edge, but does not do without an independent frame. It is the most affordable model of the latest high-end offensive from France. With 14,95 kg weight for the complete bike, the Rockrider Explore 500 joins the lighter bikes that you can buy for under under 600 Euro. Most bikes in its class are heavier. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. The seating position does not manage to be too athletic, nor too upright. It´s moderate character is likely to suite the vast majority of bikers. All in all, in the on sporty excursions category, you will hardly find a better overall package from parts and geometry. Pay attention when selecting your size: the Explore 500 sizing runs small.
