Admittedly, with 130 mm travel, the Tallboy GX AXS is always somewhat overshadowed by the more downhill-heavy bikes from Santa Cruz. Unjustifiably so, in our opinion. No matter how rowdy the ride gets: when shredding the Tallboy GX AXS, the 65,5 degree head tube angle and the long wheelbase ensure a pretty chilled handling. In the saddle of the tours with proper trails your bum will have a pleasant ride – and your back too. In the price range of above 8000 Euro, there are bikes that climb better than the Santa Cruz Fully. A good argument for the Santa Cruz Tallboy GX AXS: Such a successful geometry is usually only available if you have deep pockets. With 25 years warranty, you can not go wrong.
