If the manufacturer's indication is right, the 13,95 kg of the Scott Hardtail counts towards the lighter Racebike that you get for under under 1000 Euro. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. When sitting in the saddle, the posture is neither overly sporty, nor uber-comfortable. This should make the Scott Hardtail suite the taste of most bikers.
