With its 140 mm travel on the fork, the Scarp LT 291 is significantly more downhill-oriented than the other Scarp models in the KTM catalog. The combination of a 65,5 degree head tube angle and a long wheelbase calms down the handling of the KTM Scarp LT 291, even if you ride fast. The seating position can be described neither as sporty nor as comfortable. It has a moderate character. On the downhill, however, the Scarp LT 291 is left in the dust by its competitors. Apart from this criticism, the sporty orientation makes the KTM the best climber in the price range below under 6000 Euro.
