The Lapierre brand has been quiet for a long time. Now the French are back with a new edition of their classic. The Zesty CF 8.9 has always been an ingenious touring bike with a penchant for downhill racing. The footprints left by its predecessors for the new All Mountain are correspondingly large. No matter how rowdy the ride gets: when shredding the Lapierre, the 64,5 degree head tube angle and the long wheelbase ensure a pretty chilled handling. There are bikes with a more sporty, but also with more comfortable seating approach. The Zesty CF 8.9 wants to combine the best of the two worlds with a moderate orientation. Another strong argument needs to be mentioned: the coherent geometry and the grippy tires will make you smile all the way to the bottom of the descent.
