Expirience with the Simplon RAPCON, SRAM GX EAGLE TRANSMISSION

Ludwig Döhl Simplon isn´t known for gravity-orientated bikes, but with the Rapcon the Austrians prove that they have more engineering skills than pure lightweight construction. With the modular principle, you can freely choose components. Especially in extremely steep terrain, this combination makes for smooth handling. Compared with what the market offers, the seating position is neither super sporty, nor uber-comfortable. In the saddle of the Simplon, you´ll enjoy a moderate position. On the downhill, however, the Simplon RAPCON is left in the dust by its competitors. And finally, we need to emphasize, that Simplon installed better wheels at a price of 5049 Euro than the competition.
