The Stumpjumper was the first mountain bike ever to be mass-produced. However, the Stumpjumper Pro has little in common with its ancestor. With 140 mm of travel on the fork, it is one of the most potent bikes in the all-mountain range. Especially praiseworthy: the integrated storage compartment in the down tube. A low weight means more rideability on different terrain. If the manufacturer's indication is right, the 13,15 kg of the Specialized Stumpjumper Pro counts towards the lighter All Mountain that you get for under above 8000 Euro. The flat 65 degree head tube angle of the All Mountain of Specialized gives the rider lots of confidence in challenging terrain. The moderate seating position is likely to be the perfect middle ground for the majority of bikers. All in all, in the on demanding single tracks category, you will hardly find a better overall package from parts and geometry. We like: 25 years warranty on the frame!
