With 160 mm of travel on the fork, the Switchblade Pro is a bona fide enduro rig. The DW-Link rear suspension yields considerably less travel than the fork but compensates with top-notch performance. The geometry is moderate and makes for a balanced handling. There are bikes with a more sporty, but also with more comfortable seating approach. The Pivot Switchblade Pro wants to combine the best of the two worlds with a moderate orientation. Looking at only the shifting system of the rest of the bikes you have to say that other manufacturers in the price range above 8000 Eurouse higher quality components. But one should not underestimate that wheels are extremely important for the riding experience on the trail. Pivot knows this and installed higher quality than the competitors at the price of 9499 Euro . We like: 10 years warranty on the frame!
