Expirience with the Specialized Status 2 170 DH

Ludwig Döhl Aabove all, the Specialized just feels great. The moderate 63,5 degree head tube angle ensures a balanced handling. The view of the geometry data clearly reveals: the Specialized has a sporty seating position. At the bottom line you have to say: the Specialized Status 2 170 DH is a very nice bike, but it can not quite keep up with the Enduro competitors in under 4500 Euro segment. Especially for light riders under 70 kilos, the weight of this bike is enormous. With 17,18 kg, the ratio of rider to bike weight could be lighter. With the Status 2 170 DH, the real fun starts at the peak of the mountain. Because in the downhill, the on very demanding single trails is better than the competitors in this price range. A nice warranty promises sustainability. With 25 years warranty Specialized sets the bar high!
