Expirience with the Trek Supercaliber SLR 9.9 XTR Gen 2

Ludwig Döhl The second generation of the Supercaliber addresses precisely the weak points of the first. The Supercaliber SLR 9.9 has a significantly more modern geometry than its predecessor. The frame is also almost 200 grams lighter. And there is 80 instead of 60 millimeters of suspension travel in the rear. Coupled with the 110 mm at the fork, the current race chassis from Jolanda Neff & Co becomes much more grown-up. When it comes to frame design and quantity of travel, the similarity to Specialized's Epic Worldcup is undeniable. However, the general concept of the rear suspension is completely different. The weight of a bike is a central factor for riding pleasure on any kind of terrain. With 9,75 kg, the Racebike von Trek is one of the lightest Racebike on the market, which makes for great riding on singletrails. You have no idea if you prefer high speed stability or playful handling? Then you can´t go wrong with the Trek Fully. It´s handling is pleasantly balanced. The seating position is sporty. We like: 25 years warranty on the frame!
