The Stumpjumper was the first mountain bike ever to be mass-produced. However, the Stumpjumper Comp has little in common with its ancestor. With 140 mm of travel on the fork, it is one of the most potent bikes in the all-mountain range. Especially praiseworthy: the integrated storage compartment in the down tube. A low weight means more rideability on different terrain. If the manufacturer's indication is right, the 13,86 kg of the Specialized Stumpjumper Comp counts towards the lighter All Mountain that you get for under under 4500 Euro. No matter how rowdy the ride gets: when shredding the All Mountain von Specialized, the 65 degree head tube angle and the long wheelbase ensure a pretty chilled handling. The seating position does not manage to be too athletic, nor too upright. It´s moderate character is likely to suite the vast majority of bikers. Considering that in the range under 4500 Euro, hardly any other manufacturer makes a better bike for the same specs of wheels. Nice! With 25 years warranty, you can not go wrong.
